Requirements: Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle are essential.
Contract: Ongoing Contract / Permanent opportunities.
THE ROLE
As the Resident Liaison Officer, you will be the face of the project. You will ensure that residents are fully informed and supported throughout the duration of planned maintenance and refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities:
Resident Engagement: Conduct pre-start surveys and home visits to introduce the works and explain the process to residents.
Communication: Distribute letters, notices, and newsletters to keep the community updated on project timelines.
Choice Management: Assist residents in making selections for internal works (e.g., kitchen/bathroom colours and finishes) and ensure these are accurately recorded.
Conflict Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for any resident queries or complaints, resolving issues swiftly and professionally on-site.
Liaison: Coordinate between site managers, trade operatives, and residents to ensure access is gained and works proceed smoothly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate resident files, visit logs, and satisfaction surveys to provide clear audit trails for the client.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Experience: Proven experience as an RLO or TLO (Tenant Liaison Officer) within the Social Housing sector.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a diverse range of residents.
Resilience: Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations or when dealing with difficult complaints.
Mobility: Must hold a full UK Driving Licence and be comfortable travelling between different sites within the Brent area.
IT Literacy: Proficient in using Microsoft Office and mobile devices for logging site data.
Organisation: Strong time management skills to handle multiple residents and workstreams simultaneously.
