We are seeking a strong candidate for a care home nurse role who is compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with residents, families, and the wider healthcare team. Experience in medication management, care planning, and assessing residents' needs is essential, along with a solid understanding of legal and regulatory guidelines. We are looking for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and dedicated to enhancing residents' well-being while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Job role:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care, ensuring the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents are met.


• Administer and manage medications safely, ensuring accurate documentation and monitoring for side effects or changes in condition.


• Develop, implement, and regularly review individual care plans, adjusting care based on residents' evolving needs.


• Monitor and assess residents’ health and wellbeing, responding promptly to any changes in their condition and ensuring timely interventions.


• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies, maintaining high standards of care and safety at all times.


• Lead, supervise, and support care staff, providing training, guidance, and direction to maintain a high standard of care.


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring all medical and care information is documented according to policies.


• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring open communication and a supportive environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Fully qualified General Nurse, Mental health nurse, or Learning disability nurse


• Nursing experience in a care home environment


• A Valid NMC Pin
