A Day in the Life of a Recruitment Consultant

As a Recruitment Consultant with our client, your day is shaped by their focus on specialist areas such as Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Sales.

Business development is a HUGE part of this role. You will research and identify new business opportunities and then develop strategies to pursue them.

Winning new business doesn’t mean you stop there. Client relationship management is vital! You’ll build long-lasting relationships with your clients and be their go-to person when it comes to all thing’s recruitment. Think of yourself as an extension of their business.

Candidate sourcing is a significant part of the role, leveraging their extensive network and expertise in their specialist areas to identify the right candidates. This includes conducting screening calls, and interviews as well as preparing candidates for interviews.

Given their focus on continuous improvement and development, you are also given the opportunity to engage in professional development activities.

The day often concludes with planning for the next day and collaborating with the wider teams.

This role is dynamic, requiring adaptability, deep industry knowledge, and excellent communication skills, qualities that they nurture and value in their team members.
