Role: Quantity Surveyor
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Dungiven

About the Role:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role across a range of building and refurbishment projects. You’ll be responsible for managing costs from early design stages through to completion, ensuring projects meet legal and quality standards while delivering value for clients and maintaining company profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing tender and contract documentation, including bills of quantities
- Undertaking cost analysis for repair and maintenance works
- Supporting feasibility studies and client requirements
- Managing risk, value engineering, and cost control
- Advising on procurement strategy
- Preparing and analysing tender costings
- Allocating work to subcontractors
- Managing contractual claims and reporting progress
- Valuing completed works and arranging payments
- Maintaining knowledge of current building contracts and H&S regulations
Essential Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong background in maintenance and minor works contracts
- Experience managing high-volume work orders alongside planned projects
- Good understanding of Schedule of Rates and measured term contracts
Personal Attributes:
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence
