Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking for your next opportunity? This is an exciting role for a Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established Main Contractor based in Surrey. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality new build care home project valued up to £10m, working alongside a dynamic and experienced team.

With an annual turnover of approximately £100m, they offer the stability of an established business combined with the agility of a growing contractor.

The Role

As Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for a new build care home project from procurement through to final account. You will work closely with the project team to ensure financial control, cost reporting, and value engineering opportunities are maximised.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all commercial aspects of the project lifecycle


• Preparing cost plans, budgets, and tender documentation


• Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers


• Valuations, variations, and final accounts


• Cost reporting and forecasting


• Liaising with clients, consultants, and site teams

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within a Main Contractor environment


• Experience working on new build projects (care home experience advantageous)


• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills


• Ability to manage projects independently


• Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar
