Quantity Surveyor – South West London
Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 per annum + Car Allowance

About the Role
We’re recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team delivering the landmark Wandsworth Mills development in South-West London. This flagship project blends heritage and modern living with high-specification new homes, exceptional resident facilities and high-quality landscaping along the River Wandle and Thames.
As a key member of the commercial function, you’ll support the financial and commercial delivery of the project through cost planning, procurement, contract administration and cost reporting to help ensure programme, quality and budgetary targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare cost plans, budgets and commercial forecasts for project phases.
Manage measurement and quantification of works, and evaluate bills of quantities.
Lead procurement of subcontractors and materials, obtaining competitive pricing.
Administer and negotiate contracts, variations, valuations and final accounts.
Monitor project costs, cash-flow and issue monthly cost reports.
Work collaboratively with project, design and technical teams to support value engineering and risk mitigation.
Assist in commercial strategy development to drive efficiency and cost control.
Experience & Skills
Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
Proven experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on residential or mixed-use developments.
Strong commercial awareness, budgeting and cost control capability.
Excellent numerical skills, contract understanding and negotiation ability.
Effective communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and subcontractors.
Experience with standard form contracts (e.g., JCT, NEC) is an advantage.
