Quantity Surveyor - Fast Track Career progression - Engineering



Company

Civils and electrical specialist operating within the rapidly moving energy sector. Company growth has led to the opening of new, larger offices, and the need to increase staff numbers to manage the incoming projects. 



Role

This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to be first on board, to manage commercial day to day activities and make the role their own, positioned favourably to progress to more senior levels of responsibility as business activity increases. Projects to manage will be in the region of £5m each, with four to five running simultaneously. Therefore, the location of this post will vary as site visits will need to happen frequently and when not on site, the QS can choose where is best to work from from three different offices and/or home.



Experience Required

Civils and/or electrical engineering experience is a must have for success in this role. Understanding of the management required for NEC, FIDIC and bespoke contracts will be advantageous. The Quantity Surveyor must be able to work well with the project leadership team, be competent in the management of subcontractors, and will have input into how best to report and control costs within the projects.



This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who has a few years post graduate experience to step into an exciting role with a growing organisation.



Remuneration

Salary is negotiable but will be in the range of £50,000 to £60,000 plus car allowance.
