Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland
Salary: DOE, Competitive
1pm finish on Friday
A leading construction company specialising in glazing and glass facade is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the successful financial management of projects. You’ll work closely with a range of departments to ensure cost control and value for money, while supporting contract delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage contract budgets, including preliminaries, labour costs, and material allowances.
- Issue and monitor subcontract packages in collaboration with the Contracts Manager.
- Prepare and present monthly cost value reconciliation reports with clear cost and value accruals.
- Submit accurate interim applications for payment where required.
- Monitor, measure, and assess variations, ensuring appropriate valuations.
- Expedite the preparation of final accounts upon project completion.
- Apply strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to drive project success.
- Travel to project sites as required to support commercial management.

- Proven experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Strong financial management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to analyse data and produce accurate reports.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
