Role

A Quantity Surveyor is required to take a key role within social housing upgrade projects for refurbishment of existing stock and void properties. The role will involve working closely with the Project Manager to commercially manage programme costs, subcontractor payments and payment applications with the client.



This position provides a fantastic development opportunity for a QS who is looking to be more hands on, to learn more of the operational interactions on site, and develop commercial skills in a construction sector that is extremely busy and should continue given the demand for works to be carried out throughout the UK. This is a regional role focussed solely on housing projects in the North East.



Experience Required

Quantity Surveying experience from a building or housing background is required for this position. Refurbishment or upgrades experience within a live environment or experience of dealing with tenanted properties is advantageous.



Remuneration

Salary will be negotiated depending on level of experience brought to the role.
