Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: North London

Package: Up to £60,000 per annum plus car allowance and bonus

Skilled Careers are working with a Tier One Main Contractor who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to lead a recladding job valued at £14m based in North London.

This is a role that will lead directly into a Senior QS position for yourself and is a role that will allow you to work in a variety of different sectors including Commercial, Healthcare and Data Centres.

Responsibilities

• Quantity Surveyor will be the Commercial lead on a Recladding job where you will have an Assistant QS work underneath yourself.


• The measurement and valuation of works (on site and from drawings), for valuations, variations and final accounts.


• Agreement of valuation dates and preparing, submitting interim valuations in accordance with those dates.


• Administering and/or advising on Main Contract and Subcontract conditions


• Subcontract and Design Procurement


• Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts

Requirements

• Cladding experience is not essential.


• JCT Contract experience essential.


• Façade experience desirable.


• Experience working for a UK Main Contractor.
