Quantity Surveyor - Prestigious housing developer

Uniquely positioned housing developer with a portfolio of prestigious developments in the region and a plan to increase number of sites over a three year plan, creating an opportunity for fast tracked progression of a Quantity Surveyor.



Role

A Quantity Surveyor is required to join the team to manage the commercial duties in relation to regional housing projects. The QS will work under the guidance of an experienced mentor and Commercial Manager. Responsibilities will be shaped to suit the level of capability of the QS, with the rate of advancement to happen in line with the pace of the individual; an opportunity to be fast tracked to running multiple schemes.



This position is office based.



Experience Required

Applicants will have studied or be studying towards a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying in addition to bringing practical experience of working within a residential developer, housing contractor, building contractor or building cost consultancy organisation. An enthusiasm to learn quickly, demonstrable professional attitude and approach, excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills are requisite to this position.



Remuneration

Annual salary plus car allowance and additional financial support towards academic/professional qualifications if required.
