Quality Manager

Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Quality Manager by a specialist manufacturing organisation. As the ideal candidate for the role you will be experienced in delivering and developing ISO 9001 in a production environment. You will be skilled at delivering customer satisfaction through improved product quality and be capable of investigating non-conformance to generate process change to drive performance and reduce waste and low quality output.





As the Quality Manager your role and responsibilities will involve:




  • Responsible for driving improvements in product quality and service levels to deliver excellent standards of customer care, with regular feedback for continuous improvement.

  • Lead the introduction of best practice quality techniques at the shop-floor level such as standard work, quality alerts and mistake proofing. Key results must include a reduction in quality defects, damages and process errors for an overall reduction in the cost of poor quality.

  • Responsible for effective and timely response to any customer concerns raised.

  • Provide visible leadership in Quality standards, behaviours and systems of work.

  • Responsible for effective Quality policies and systems for improved performance.

  • Promote a positive Quality culture with engagement, training and regular audits.

  • Lead Quality management reviews and drive improved standards.

  • Responsible for measurement and testing of products for quality verification, together with adopting technology such as CMM systems for improving accuracy repeatability.

  • Lead introduction of best practice quality improvements using PDCA problem solving and CI techniques.

  • Excellent standards of Quality CI application, communication, personal discipline, time management, problem solving, continuous improvement and employee engagement.

  • Maintain focused Quality KPIs to monitor improvements, promote new ideas, CI learning.

  • Support and ensure full compliance with internal and external Quality audits.

  • Ensure full compliance with Quality standards and industry regulations.

  • Ensure full compliance with ISO9001 standards.

  • Responsible for driving improved Quality CI standards with suppliers.

  • Responsible for effective and timely response to any customer concerns raised.

  • Responsible for quality documentation, process capability studies, auditing maintaining equipment calibrations.
