Quality Assurance Officer (Maternity Leave)

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Officer to support our Quality team on a maternity cover contract within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and lead the Process Quality Control team (sampling, rework, rotas)


• Manage complaints, non-conformances, and customer reporting


• Maintain KPIs, audit records, and quality documentation


• Coordinate internal, GMP, and supplier audits


• Support ISO 9001 / BRCGS / ISO 14001 compliance and IMS improvements


• Maintain SOPs, inspection standards, and revision control


• Assist with calibration and validation activities

Requirements

• 2+ years’ QA/QC experience in packaging manufacturing


• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and BRCGS Packaging standards


• Experience with audits, documentation control, and inspections


• Internal audit experience


• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills


• Proficient in MS Office and QMS systems

Desirable: Internal/Lead Auditor qualification, HACCP experience
