With over 30 years expertise in their field, I'm delighted to be working with a leading wholesaler that supplies to over 8,000 retailers across UK & Ireland. Due to continued success, they are recruiting for a Purchasing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

Role:

·         Oversee the Procurement Function within the business.

·         Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts, prices, timelines.

·         Attend trade shows and ensure that current range is evolving to meet the demands of expanding Customer base.

·         Determine and manage inventory needs.

·         Manage relationships with supplier partners.

·         Source new products, develop, and implement purchasing strategies.

·         Prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.

·         Drive process improvements around procurement systems and processes.

·         Other adhoc duties.

About you:

·         Experience in consumer procurement.

·         Experience of working in a similar field.

·         Excellent IT skills.

·         Strong work ethic with an interest in the fast-paced retail distribution industry.
