Black Fox Solutions are recruiting for a family owned equipment hire company that are looking to bring a Purchase Ledger Clerk on to their team. If you are an experienced accounts professional with an interest in Purchase Ledger, this could be the role for you!
Key Responsibilities
· Process a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and on time.
· Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
· Ensure timely approval and payment of invoices in line with company policies and payment terms.
· Reconcile supplier statements to maintain accurate records.
· Manage petty cash across sites in both Sterling and Euros.
· Support team members during busy periods and assist with departmental reporting.
· Carry out ad hoc tasks and projects to meet business and reporting deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
· Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel.
· High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
· Flexibility and willingness to assist across functions when needed.
