Skilled Careers is proud to be partnering with a fast-rising, circa £10m turnover main contractor making serious waves in the fit-out and construction market. With a growing portfolio of super-prime residential, commercial, education, and healthcare projects (both fit-out and new build) valued up to £5m, this contractor is now seeking a dynamic Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team.

?? The Role:

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial ownership of your projects from pre-construction through to final accounts. This is a hands-on role where you'll be deeply involved in:

  Procurement of sub-contract packages

  
  


• 
  

  Drafting and setting up contract documents

  
  


• 
  

  Cost reporting and forecasting

  
  


• 
  

  Working closely with estimators on tenders and bid strategy

  
  


• 
  

  Liaising with site teams, consultants, and clients to ensure commercial targets are met

  Strong experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor within a UK main contractor

  Proven ability to commercially lead projects over £1m in value

  Experience in fit-out and refurbishment projects highly desirable

  A proactive, collaborative, and commercially savvy approach

  
  


• 
  

  Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and procurement strategy
