Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager 

Start Date: Immediately 

Location: Tunbridge Wells 

Day Rate: £300 - £350 per day depending on experience with an opportunity to go permanent for the right person 

Client: A well established Regional Contractor with an excellent reputation in the local region. Who specialise in Care Homes, Education, Commercial and Residential Schemes 

Project: A new build Care home, with associated works including full fit out, access roads and external works 

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager who can demonstrate where they have lead and delivered a multi million pound scheme from conception through to completion.

The contract will have an opportunity to go permanent so looking for a committed individual who is looking to take their next steps with a new company. 

Responsibilities: 

• Leading project delivery from initial planning to handover, ensuring a seamless and efficient construction process.


• Managing budgets, schedules, and resources, delivering cost-effective solutions.


• Overseeing a Site team including Site Managers and Assistants 


• Overseeing contractors, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.


• Ensuring adherence to specifications, building regulations, and quality control, delivering an exceptional finished product.


• Proactively managing risks, safeguarding project success.


• Reporting progress and making key decisions, ensuring transparency.


• Liaising with the Client and all external stakeholders 


• Liaising with Technical teams and Structural Engineers 


• Delivering Progress meetings 

Requirements

• Extensive experience with at least 3-5 years experience managing a projects £10million and above.


• Experienced Working with a Regional Contractor delivering high end schemes


• Experience working with a Tier 1 Contractor would be advantageous


• Extensive understanding of construction processes, technical specifications, and building regulations.


• Proven leadership and team motivation skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong organisational and time management skills.
