Westray Recruitment Group is delighted to bring to you a client who is looking for a Print Finisher to join their business.



Our client is a well-established print company who has been going strong for 35 years. A vacancy has arisen for an experienced print finisher to work alongside a friendly team. They are looking to replace an employee who has to retired and was with the company for 15 years.





THE ROLE



You will be an experienced individual who is calm, approachable and displays a professional manner. You will have the ability to be flexible and understanding of the print industry demands. Your responsibilities and duties will be as follows:

• You will be trained but already have some experience of using a Polar guillotine


• You will have knowledge of using a booklet maker and be trained on the Duplo model booklet maker


• You will have experience of and will use folding machines


• General Bench work and assist on folders and stitching lines if needed

THE PERSON



You will be calm, approachable and displays a professional manner. You will have the ability to be flexible and understanding of the print industry demands. Your responsibilities and duties will be as follows:

• You will be able to produce accurate, final products to the highest standards


• You are committed to a culture of quality and be keen to learn


• You are comfortable to work both on your own initiative and to work as part of a team


• You will be flexible to meet the demands of the business


• You will have the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines


• You are able to follow instructions on job sheets


• You will have good numerical and organisational skills


• You will be punctual with good timekeeping
