Principal Electrical Engineer – London (Hybrid)
A global building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their London team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects including commercial, heritage, healthcare, data centres, and major developments within a supportive and well-structured environment.
You’ll be based in a modern working environment with hybrid flexibility, collaborating with an experienced team delivering high-quality engineering solutions.
The Role
Lead electrical design across multidisciplinary projects
Deliver high-quality technical outputs (specifications, drawings, schedules)
Support project planning, resourcing, and financial management
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development
About You
Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Chartered (or working towards) with IET, CIBSE, or similar
Strong consultancy background in electrical building services design
Experience with industry tools such as Revit and IES
Good understanding of UK regulations and sustainable design principles
