The Role

We are recruiting for a Pre-Construction Manager / Programmer to join a growing fit-out contractor. You will lead the pre-construction phase of projects, managing programming, design coordination, and tender support to ensure successful project delivery from the outset.

Key Duties

• Lead pre-construction activities across multiple projects


• Develop and manage project programmes (MS Project / ASTA)


• Coordinate design, technical, and stakeholder teams


• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options


• Support tendering, procurement, and bid submissions


• Advise on critical path, sequencing, and resource planning


• Present programmes and strategies to clients and consultants


• Collaborate with commercial teams on cost and scope alignment

Requirements

• HND/HNC/Degree in Construction Management (or similar)


• Proven experience in pre-construction / planning within fit-out


• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and methodologies


• Experience developing and managing project programmes


• Commercial awareness across D&B and traditional contracts


• Excellent communication and organisational skills


• Proficient in MS Project (ASTA desirable)


• Willingness to travel as required
