Practice Accounts Manager

Accounts Manager | Practice | Belfast - £45,000 - £55,000

Our client, a growing and progressive accountancy practice, is seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join their expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practice professional who enjoys leading teams, managing client relationships, and contributing to advisory-focused work.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, partnerships, and individual clients


• Reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts, and tax computations


• Overseeing team workflow, mentoring, and training junior staff


• Acting as main point of contact for key clients and handling complex queries


• Identifying advisory opportunities including tax planning and cash-flow forecasting


• Supporting ad-hoc projects such as M&A activity, transactions, and finance raising

About You

• ACA or ACCA qualified


• Minimum 3 years’ PQE within an accountancy practice


• Strong communication and leadership skills


• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar cloud-based software


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other core IT systems


• Commercially aware, confident, and capable of taking ownership
