Planning & Scheduling Team Leader

Team Leader required for a construction company based in the Darlington area.  The purpose of this role is to lead a team of people who are responsible for planning work that is related to maintenance - planned and emergency, reactive maintenance.  



The Role

The successful applicant will responsible for leading the delivery of both planned and reactive work streams across the department. This critical role requires a dynamic leader who balances operational efficiency with a commitment to exceptional customer service and commercial impact. You’ll empower your team to work collaboratively, perform at the highest level and deliver industry-leading results.



Working hours are 40 per week and will be worked between the hours of 7am and 5pm to suit the needs of the business.  The salary will be in the £33k to £36k region.



Specific performance metrics will include Health & Safety Compliance - Upholding safety protocols and promoting a safe working Culture; Team Engagement - Creating a motivated, high-performing environment with strong morale; Service Level Agreement (SLA) Performance - Delivering against contractual targets and expectations; Operational Utilisation - Maximising the productive output of available resources; Team Quality Scores - Monitoring accuracy, consistency, and process adherence across planning functions; Customer Satisfaction - Driving positive customer experiences and feedback and Work Basket Management - Keeping workloads well-organised, up-to-date, and efficiently prioritised.



The Person

The successful applicant will have a proven experience in a fast-paced planning environment, strong leadership qualities with confidence to guide and influence and, a background in operations, utilities or logistics is an advantage.



Remuneration

£33,000 to £36,000 per annum.
