Part-qualified Accountant - £30,000+ 

BlackFox Solutions are delighted to be seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Qualified Accountant to join our clients growing and friendly accounting practice based in Belfast. 

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification and looking to further develop their career within a supportive practice environment.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting with the preparation of management accounts

  
  


• 
  

  Preparing VAT returns and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations

  
  


• 
  

  Supporting the completion of personal and corporate tax returns

  
  


• 
  

  Liaising with clients to obtain records and resolve queries

  
  


• 
  

  Maintaining accurate financial records and working papers

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting senior staff with ad-hoc assignments and client work

  
  

Requirements

• 
  

  Part-qualified (or actively studying) towards a recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience working within an accountancy practice is essential

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

  
  


• 
  

  Good working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)

  
  


• 
  

  Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
