The Role

• Leading a team of technical staff as Operations Manager across London, delivering high-quality responsive repairs services, and driving operational performance


• Managing high-value repairs and maintenance contracts in London, ensuring commercial control and service quality targets are consistently achieved


• Driving service improvement initiatives across London, implementing change programmes that enhance productivity and resident satisfaction


• Overseeing Mechanical and Electrical programmes as Operations Manager, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and successful delivery outcomes


• Collaborating with contractors, consultants, and council stakeholders across London to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Operations Manager in London or similar environment, managing responsive repairs contracts at scale


• Strong leadership skills as a Repairs & Maintenance Manager, with the ability to engage, coach and motivate technical teams


• Extensive knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical programmes within a London-based housing or local authority setting


• Demonstrable experience managing budgets, commercial performance, and service delivery as a Housing Repairs Manager


• In-depth understanding of housing legislation and landlord compliance requirements relevant to London or wider social housing sector
