Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer to join their Housing Repairs team within their Housing Department. The role is fixed term for 12 months.
Our client is the largest landlord in South Holland, providing lettings, tenancy and estate management to over 3800 properties. The Housing Repairs service is responsible for the ongoing maintenance, repairs and refurbishment of the councils housing stock, which consists of general and sheltered housing, containing flats, bungalows and houses. Their aim is to provide safe and secure homes for their residents to live in, whilst upholding the values and standards of the Council and maintaining their landlord’s strategic vision.
Working as a valuable member of the daytime team, the role also requires participation on the emergency out of hours rota, for which additional standby and call-out pay is awarded above the standard annual salary.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of plastering and trowel trade tasks in occupied and void properties, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
You will be mobile based conducting on-site repairs to tenanted and void properties, working by yourself and as a team with a variety of tasks, to ensure properties are safe, functional, and well-maintained. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality of their social housing and ensuring tenant satisfaction.
