Mobile Electrical Engineer

Location: Edinburgh (mobile role)

Salary: £40,000 - £44,000 + Van

Contract Type: Full-time

We are partnered with a market leading service provider who are looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across Edinburgh and the surrounding region. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys varied work, autonomy, and interacting with a diverse range of clients and sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical repairs across multiple commercial sites


• Attend call-outs, diagnose faults, and provide effective solutions with minimal downtime


• Carry out installations, minor works, and upgrades as required


• Ensure compliance with electrical regulations and safety standards


• Complete job sheets, reports, and compliance documentation accurately


• Represent the company professionally while travelling between sites

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or City and Guild Level 3 in Electrical Engineering


• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations


• Experience in commercial maintenance (FM background desirable)


• Full UK driving licence (essential)


• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills


• Excellent communication and customer-facing ability


• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
