This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse who is ready to step into (or further establish themselves in) a leadership role. You will play a key part in shaping service delivery, supporting clinical excellence, and guiding a committed multidisciplinary team.

Essential Criteria





  • NMC registration in good standing




  • Valid and unrestricted nursing PIN




  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification




  • Previous experience as Deputy Nurse Manager or in a senior clinical role




  • Management experience desirable




  • Strong knowledge of mental health legislation and safeguarding practices

Key Responsibilities





  • Providing clinical and operational leadership within the service




  • Supporting and supervising Nurses and Healthcare Assistants




  • Ensuring care delivery meets regulatory, legislative, and best practice standards




  • Overseeing care planning and risk management processes




  • Monitoring and improving quality through audit and service user feedback




  • Liaising with external professionals and mental health services




  • Managing staffing, performance, and development within the team




  • Contributing to policy development and service improvement initiatives




  • Promoting a positive, recovery-focused and collaborative working culture
