Mechanical Project Engineer - Hospital Project (Contract)

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to join a top-tier MEP Contractor on a large-scale hospital project in East Sussex. This is an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of mechanical services, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety Management: Ensure the safe management and control of mechanical services installation.


• Design & Change: Manage design information and oversee change control processes.


• Coordination: Coordinate the installation and manage the associated supply chain resources effectively.

What We Need From You:

• Proven Experience: Demonstrable experience in Mechanical Engineering with a sound understanding of MEP systems.


• Project Background: Ideally, experience with a leading contractor on healthcare, education, custodial, or science projects.


• Core Skills: Proven experience in people management, programme and sequence management, and the safe control of mechanical systems.


• Technical Competence: High level of competence in digital construction methods (BIM & Field tools), with strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.
