Mechanical Fitter

A leading, innovative manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Automation Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Fitter. You’ll work hands-on with robotics, conveyors, and precision machinery in a modern automated facility, ensuring smooth production and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair robotics, conveyors, and automated equipment


• Support daily production and resolve line stoppages


• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections


• Record maintenance, repairs, and inventory accurately


• Identify improvements to increase efficiency, reliability, and quality


• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners


• Follow safety and quality standards rigorously

Requirements

• 3+ years in automation maintenance or mechanical fitting in manufacturing


• Relevant mechanical/electrical qualification


• Hands-on experience with high-speed machinery and automation systems


• Physical role: Standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25lb


• Organised, detail-focused, and safety-conscious
