Position: Marine Electrician

Location: Portsmouth 1 week, 4 week in Plymouth

Rate/Salary: £30 p/h (plus accommodation) 

Type: Contract, 6-8 weeks

The below job description will outline this position of: Marine Electrician 

Typically, this person will be able to complete the fit out of all electrical equipment on new build marine vessels.

Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Electrician:

• Install cable support systems


• Installing Sat Navigation          


• Run and dress cabling in an extremely neat fashion           


• Install control cabinet enclosures            


• Test your own work to recognised standards (IEE 17th Test and Inspect)          

Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Electrician :

• A proven track record in a marine electrical role           


• Experience with 3-phase, motors, motor starters, distribution systems         


• Extremely neat work
