Management Accountant

Management Accountant - Derry/Londonderry - £40,000 - £45,000

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients growing finance team in Derry/Londonderry. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making and driving financial performance within a dynamic organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports


• Analyse financial performance and provide insightful commentary to senior management


• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis


• Monitor costs and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings


• Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors


• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls


• Develop and improve financial reporting systems and processes


• Partner with operational teams to provide financial guidance and support

Requirements

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified


• Proven experience in a management accounting or similar role


• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail


• Excellent Excel and financial systems knowledge


• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders


• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
