As an estate guardian, you will be responsible for ensuring that our estates are safe and well-maintained, creating a top-notch environment for our on-site teams to provide the best care for our little ones. You will dive into designated regions, overseeing contractor visits, supporting in epic Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programs, championing health and safety in ongoing projects, and reporting issues.
You will also be the go-to wizard for facilities queries on-site, supporting our amazing Nursery Managers and Teams in overcoming facilities challenges, and keeping line management in the loop for a strategic and well-maintained estate. You will fix compliance failures with the speed of a ninja, illuminate compliance issues for our leaders to conquer, and ensure quality fixes like a financial wizard, minimizing travel costs.
To be successful in this role, you must have a wide understanding of customer needs, commitment to quality, and the ability to organize your tasks like a symphony conductor, even under pressure. You should be willing to embrace training and evolve with the ever-changing legislative landscape, have flexibility, adaptability, and a structured approach, critical thinking skills, and a previous background in maintenance or general trades.
The successful candidate will attend sites like a superhero, always within designated SLA, keep fire and Legionella compliance above 98%, maintain knowledge and training to stay ahead of the game, and bask in positive feedback reports from sites, never scoring below 90%. You should also showcase impeccable records that breeze through audits, demonstrate savings on efficiencies across your realm, and masterfully support a well-managed and maintained budget.
