The Business

Our client is a nationwide manufacturer based in Tanfield and has been operating since 2016. The business supplies into the packaging supply chain and produces over 300 million units, making them a key player within their sector.

They are a family-owned, forward-thinking organisation with a strong focus on innovation, quality and continuous improvement. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for reliable and motivated Operatives to join their production team.

The company offers a strong network of training and support, helping employees build their skills, confidence and competency within a manufacturing environment.

 

The Role

As a Machine Operative, you will play an important part in the production process. You will be responsible for operating machinery, checking finished products and making sure all goods meet quality standards before they are packed and sent out.

Your duties will include:

• Operating production machinery safely and efficiently


• Quality checking products to ensure they meet required standards


• Identifying and reporting any defects or issues


• Packing finished goods in a fast-paced production environment


• Lifting and handling stock as part of the production process


• Completing basic production paperwork


• Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe


• Supporting the wider team to meet production targets

The Person

We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who are keen to secure a long-term opportunity within manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working in a production, packing or manufacturing environment


• A good eye for detail and quality


• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
