Role : Lecturer in Essential Skills Numeracy & GCSE Maths (2 roles)

Location: Based in one of Lisburn/Newtownards/Bangor/Downpatrick

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday

Pay: £30,000 - £39,495 Depending on Qualifications

We’re working with one the country’s leading colleges to appoint 2 lecturers specialising in Essential Skills Numeracy & GCSE Maths. You’ll be based at one of either Lisburn, Newtownards, Bangor or Downpatrick however occasional travel to other sites will be required.

The Role:

Teaching classes of approximately 15 or so students in relation to Essential Skills Numeracy & GCSE Maths.

The Requirements:

• GCSE English (Grade A-C) or Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Communication and GCSE Maths (Grade A-C) / Essential Skills Level 2 (or higher) in Numeracy, or NICATS Access Maths Modules.


• Degree educated of which Maths forms a minimum of 50% of the subject studied.


• Experience in delivering/tutoring Essential Skills Numeracy OR GCSE Maths.
