Lead with purpose. Support with confidence. Thrive with us.

At Dimensions, you’ll find more than a job – you’ll find purpose, belonging, and the support to thrive. As a Lead Support Worker in Stanwell, you’ll bring structure, encouragement and warmth to a small household of adults with learning disabilities, creating days filled with joy, independence and meaningful moments.

Recognised as a Great Place to Work for seven years running, we’ll value your experience, celebrate your growth, and give you the tools to lead with confidence.

About the role

You’ll support five people with a range of interests – from cooking and games to zoo trips and theme park adventures. No two days look the same, but every day makes a difference.

Your role will include:

  • Leading and motivating a team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support
  • Coordinating daily routines, delegating tasks and maintaining clear, organised rotas
  • Supporting with health appointments, weekly shopping and leisure activities
  • Creating a warm and welcoming home environment
  • Using flexible communication styles to build strong, trusting relationships
  • Acting as a role model for best practice, integrity and inclusion

Shifts are a mix of early (07:00–14:30) and late (14:30–22:00) with alternate weekends, giving you structure while supporting work-life balance.

What we’re looking for

You’ll succeed in this role if you bring:

  • Previous experience in support work
  • Excellent organisational skills – you enjoy structure, planning and problem-solving
  • Clear, compassionate communication
  • Confidence in leading others with positivity and respect
  • A calm, proactive approach and a commitment to putting people first

What you’ll gain

At Dimensions, your wellbeing and growth matter. You’ll be supported with:

  • Training and development through Dimensions Academy and our award-winning Aspire programme
  • A values-led, inclusive culture where your voice is heard and your experiences matter
  • Recognition for the difference you make, including Inspiring People Awards
  • Wellbeing support, flexible working principles and a team that truly looks out for each other

Because when you can be you, you can make an even greater impact.
