Lead Support Worker
Location: Burford, West Oxford
Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Annual Salary £27,590.16 PLUS Company Benefits with a realistic earn up to salary of £34,853.50
One of our Oxford Managers is looking for a Lead Support Worker who is experienced in supporting adults with learning disabilities and who shares a passion for making a positive difference to the lives of people with disabilities.
Supporting four people with learning disabilities, in their very well presented house, you will have the opportunity to really get to know, and individualise your support. As a proactive, engaging and caring individual you will be a competent and confident Practice Lead for your colleagues – promoting our values and ensuring best outcomes for the people we support. Please be aware that the people we support are currently seeking a new housemate so eventually you will be part of a team supporting 5 people.
You will need to demonstrate good organisational and IT skills. With an eye for detail you will play a key role in ensuring support plans are up to date and relevant. You will aid your colleagues to maintain a high level of compliance and safety in the homes you work in.
Lead Support Workers will need to work a mixture of early (07.00-14.30) and later (14.30-22.00) shifts, there will also be a requirement to work at least one sleep-in shift per week. You will also need to be available to work on alternate weekends.
