As a Lead Physician, you will be at the forefront of delivering excellence in clinical care while guiding and supporting a team of dedicated doctors and Health Advisors. Your leadership will ensure consistent standards of high-quality care across Bupa Health Clinics at Sevenoaks Medical CentreLyca Health Orpington and The Royal Tunbridge Wells Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to blend hands-on clinical work with strategic oversight in a setting that prioritises patient experience, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing clinical leadership and management to Bupa doctors and Health Advisors across our centres and remote services.
  • Delivering comprehensive health assessments with a varied caseload.
  • Playing a key role in clinical governance, including audits, incident reviews, and preparation for CQC inspections.
  • Supporting and mentoring GPs through CPD, appraisals, and performance management, fostering a culture of excellence and learning.
  • Driving results and quality improvements in collaboration with centre and hospital management teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • An experienced GMC registered GP.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical leadership, team development, and performance management.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in working within both face-to-face and remote services.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and healthcare improvement.

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous experience within the private healthcare sector including carrying out health assessments.
  • Background in mentoring, training, and appraisal.
  • Familiarity with quality improvement frameworks and commercial healthcare operations.
