Our client is an independent kitchen and wardrobe manufacturer and installer. They specialise in working with house builders and contractors on new developments across the South Coast. They are looking to grow their team to include an installer/finisher.

The ideal candidate would have previous kitchen and or wardrobe installation experience. You will also be required to travel across the South to complete installs and deliveries. As part of the installation team, you will be required to dry fit kitchens and wardrobes into new build houses, apartments and the occasional house renovation project.

Basic building work, plastering, plumbing and or electrical experience is not required as this is not included in the role. You will need to have good communication skills as you will be dealing with home owners, site managers, developers and other trades to overcome problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Undertake the installation of kitchens and wardrobes.
Deliver installations which fully comply with customer’s needs.
Manage your own time effectively to ensure jobs are completed on time and in full, first time.
Carry out all work to the highest standard as outlined in the installation guide, ensuring return visits and costs related to poor quality are minimised.
You will be required to assist with the delivery team and warehouse team as and when required.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND KEY SKILLS

Career experience in carpentry/joinery is essential (references from a similar role will be required).
Site experience is beneficial but not essential.
Must be flexible on working hours and be prepared to travel to various locations to meet the demands and works orders of the business.
Good numeracy and high levels of accuracy is essential.
Full UK Driving License
Kitchen Installation (3-5 years essential)
Minimum City and Guilds Qualification (essential)
CSCS Card (beneficial)
