Junior Accountant - We are looking for passionate and ambitious Junior Accountant to join our team in Coventry, West Midlands on a full-time basis. This is an office-based role.

About the role:

As a Junior Accountant, you will play an important role in supporting our senior accounting team in carrying out essential financial duties. You’ll assist in preparing a variety of financial reports and tax returns while honing your technical skills and gaining invaluable practical experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Assist in preparing financial reports, including statutory, management, and charitable trust accounts. 
• Support the preparation of tax returns for self-assessment, corporation, and partnership tax. 
• Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and positive interactions. 
• Provide timely and accurate financial advice to clients, consulting with senior accountants when necessary. 
• Ensure compliance with legal accounting standards while delivering all tasks on time and within budget. 

About you:

As a Junior Accountant, you are proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about accounting and finance. With a strong willingness to learn, you bring a solid foundation in key tax matters and a keen desire to expand your expertise. Your excellent communication skills allow you to build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues, while your ability to stay calm under pressure ensures deadlines are consistently met. Confident with Excel and IT systems, you will be eager to further develop your knowledge of accounting software and enhance your technical skills.
