IT Systems Administrator needed with strong Windows Server experience for a permanent career opportunity located in Wigan, Lancashire (Hybrid).
A chance to join an established digital solutions business providing IT services into the Healthcare sector. Start asap in Autumn 2024.
Working from the Wigan office on a 'hybrid remote' basis (1 day/week), plus occasional travel to Data Centre sites in Liverpool and Slough.
Key skills, experience + duties will include:
- Day-to-day support and sys admin for Windows Server environments including Production, Test, DR and routine workloads.
- IT system administration, trouble-shooting, proactive monitoring, alerting + resolution of IT system issues.
- Maintaining Virtualisation / VMware environments, backups, Disaster Recovery (DR) + Firewall management.
- Tech Environment: Windows Server, AD, LDAP, DNS/DHCP, Virtualisation, VMWare, Nutanix, SCCM, Networks, VLAN, VPN, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Rubrik Backup/DR.
- Advantageous: Azure Cloud, Virtual Machines, AKS, App Gateways, O365, Networking, SQL Server, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Apache, Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, Jira
- Soft Skills: attention to detail, logical, conscientious, problem solving, prioritisation, proactive, organised, collaborative, self-motivated.
