We are working with an exciting Irish fine food producer who are seeking to recruit their new International Sales Development Manager who will play a key role in driving sales growth across key global markets, developing new international business opportunities, managing distributor relationships, and executing market-entry strategies.
Reporting into Senior Management at their office on the Monaghan / Armagh border and with travel to growth market regions, you will focus on;
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new international business opportunities across target regions
- Develop and execute market-entry strategies for new territories
- Achieve agreed sales targets, revenue goals, and profit margins
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective customers
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Manage relationships with partner international distributors and key accounts
- Collaborate with the marketing department to localize promotional materials and ensure brand consistency in international markets.
- Prepare regular sales reports, competitive analyses, and market performance reviews.
What we are looking for…
- Extensive experience within a comparable role within the food markets to include international sales
- Proven track record of securing new business and managing distributor networks
- Understanding of global retail, wholesale, and foodservice channels
- Experience working with import/export requirements, certifications, and food regulations
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
