Key duties of the Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer:

• Develop and deliver electrical and electronic system designs for buildings and infrastructure as part of a multidisciplinary design team.


• Understand BS 7671, IEC standards, and electrical safety regulations.


• Familiarity with Dialux and/or Relux software.


• Familiarity with Trimble/Amtech and/or ElectricalOM software.


• Assist senior and principal electrical design engineers on a range of projects.


• Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, building services engineers or equivalent.


• Actively working towards professional engineering registration.


• Providing technical reports to project leads.


• Attend site visits and client meetings to report project progress.


• Liaise with different project teams to discuss design specifications, drawings and calculations.


• Working on the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects and/or large scale industrial facilities.


• Using sustainable electrical design principles, including energy efficiency and renewable integration.


• Interpret technical drawings and specifications with guidance.
