HV Shift Lead Engineer

Job Title: Shift Lead – Engineering Maintenance

Location: Cannon Street

Salary: £55,000 + Benefits

Hours: 4 on 4 off (12-hour shifts, Days & Nights)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

This prestigious company within the FM industry is eagerly looking for a HV Shift Lead to join one of their more up market & prestigious sites located right in the heart of London with excellent transport connections for engineers living in and outside of London.

The team is a close knit but welcoming team who socialise together frequently and there is great opportunity for progression and training on additional courses.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks


• Lead on all scheduled PPM tasks and ensure deadlines are met


• Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance issues efficiently


• Use systems like Demand Logic to ensure optimal performance of M&E equipment


• Ensure all work is compliant with Health & Safety legislation


• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers


• Maintain accurate records and assist in improving KPIs


• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site

What We’re Looking For

• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Essential)


• HV Experience (HVAP ticket would be desired but not essential as training would be provided)


• Experience in commercial building maintenance (Essential)


• Good IT skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)


• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems


• Strong leadership and communication skills


• 18th Edition IEE (Desirable)


• Experience with Delta BMS, Concept Evolution/FSI Go (Desirable)


• HV Authorised Person / L8 Cooling Towers (Desirable)
