An established hotel in Derry is seeking an Interim HR Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead and manage all aspects of Human Resources within a busy hospitality environment.
The successful candidate will oversee recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, performance management, and payroll coordination, ensuring HR practices support operational excellence and exceptional guest service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding and training
- Promote positive employee relations and manage grievances, disciplinary and dispute resolution processes
- Design and implement training initiatives to enhance performance and service standards
- Manage performance review processes and support department heads with staff development
- Ensure compliance with employment law, company policies and brand standards
About You
- CIPD Qualified
- Third level qualification (HR or Business preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Senior HR Generalist / HR Advisor
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confident managing confidential and sensitive matters
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience within hospitality or fast-paced environments desirable
