Home Manager

Home Manager for Haberdashers House – Specialist Nursing Home

Location: Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability

Salary: Band 7; £48,060 - £60,974 (inclusive of high-cost area supplement)

Contract Type: Permanent

The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) is a national centre of excellence providing person-centred care for adults with complex neurological conditions. Our services span the full neuro-disability pathway, from post-acute rehabilitation to end-of-life care. Grounded in research, education, and clinical innovation, we are proud to be Pathway to Excellence® designated. This reflects our commitment to shared decision-making, professional development, and nursing leadership.

We are now recruiting a skilled and values-led Registered Nurse with substantial experience in learning disability care to lead Haberdasher’s House, a specialist long-term service within our Specialist Nursing Home. The home supports adults with complex disabilities acquired in early life, including cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, and acquired brain injuries. Delivered by a multidisciplinary team, care is grounded in rights, identity, and inclusion, within a sensory-rich and socially connected environment.

As Home Manager, you will lead a dedicated team in delivering safe, person-led care that promotes autonomy, participation, and meaningful daily experiences. You will play a key role in shaping service quality, developing your team, and building trusted partnerships with families. Each resident should live a life defined by their own rights, preferences, and strengths.

Our organisational values – seeing the whole person, delivering on promises, willingness to learn, and honesty and integrity – guide how we care, lead, and work together. These values will underpin your leadership and the culture you create within Haberdasher’s House.

The RHN is proud to hold Leaders in Safeguarding Gold accreditation, and is recognised as a Mindful Employer, a Race Equality Matters Bronze Trailblazer, and a London Living Wage Employer. These reflect our deep commitment to inclusion, staff wellbeing, and fair employment.

We offer:

  • Wagestream platform for salary advances, savings, and financial coaching
  • Free workplace massages and on-site wellbeing activities, including yoga and pottery
  • Free on-site parking
  • Cycle2Work scheme and season ticket loans
  • Tech scheme with interest-free options for personal technology and appliances
  • Active staff networks: Pride, Women’s, and Race Equality
  • Blue Light Card and retail discounts
  • Career development through funded apprenticeships, academic study, and leadership programmes

Equality and inclusion

The RHN values and celebrates diversity. We are committed to ensuring that no applicant, employee, or service user is treated less favourably based on race, ethnicity, disability, religion or belief, age, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, or marital/civil partnership status.

We welcome applications from candidates with disabilities and will offer reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process. Flexible working will be considered, depending on individual circumstances and service needs.
