HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Spider is advertising on behalf of a company who are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join their team in this permanent, full-time role based in Rochester, Kent. Fantastic company package include:

Salary: Competitive salary of £38,000 up to £56,000+ (£14.25 per hour basic rate, £14.50 per hour overtime rate)
Holiday: 20 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays)
Other: £10 per day meal allowance (typically £50 per week), £26.20 per night out, £400 annual retention bonus (paid at Christmas)

About the role:

As an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will carry out a mix of local and long-distance deliveries, ensuring goods are transported safely and efficiently. You will be working with both flatbed and curtain sider vehicles as part of a professional and supportive team. Working hours for this role are guaranteed at 47.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Carry out Class 1 (C+E) driving duties
Operate flatbed and curtain sider vehicles
Complete a mix of local and long-distance deliveries
Ensure safe and compliant transport of goods
Maintain a professional and reliable approach to all work

About You:

As an HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver, you will have a minimum of 6 months’ experience in a similar role, along with a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence, CPC qualification, and Digi Tacho card. You will be reliable, with a strong work ethic and a good working attitude, able to deliver consistently high standards in a fast-paced environment.
