Role: HGV 2
Location: Peterborough
Hours: 40+ hours per week AM & PM shifts available
Pay: £13.71-£42.25ph
Short role summary
HG are recruiting HGV 2 Drivers to work with our client based in Peterborough working on a long term/temp to perm basis. PM drivers needed with start times available from 2000-0200 working Monday-Friday.
You will be required to carry out multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods, with a maximum of 8 drops per day. You will be loading and unloading your vehicle using tail lift. Ensuring deliveries are carried out safely on a day to day basis.

Pre-parity rates 1-12 wks
AM 0600-1759 £13.71 PAYE £15.36 holiday inclusive
PM 1800-0559 £16.01 PAYE £17.94 holiday inclusive
Post Parity 13+ wks
AM 0600-1759 £13.71 PAYE £15.36 holiday inclusive
PM 1800-0559 £16.01 PAYE -£17.94 holiday inclusive
Plus overtime from £20.57-£25.35ph (dependent on PAYE or holiday inclusive)
The Role:
- Multi Drop delivery upto 8 drops per day. Depot to depot
- Loading and unloading vehicle.
The Requirements:
- HGV 2 license – New Pass Welcome
- HGV 2 licence with no more than six points for minor endorsements
- Digital Tacho and Driver Qualification Cards
- A good understanding of Drivers hours, regulations, and Working time directive
- Excellent geographical knowledge
- Customer focused attitude.
