We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team (on both full and part time basis)...
HGV Class 1 Drivers - Key Duties - Trunking to various Pitreavie sites and customers across Scotland
- Drive Company HGV, and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation
- Provide support to Warehouse Team with loading of vehicle and securing loads safely
- Provide a safe and professional HGV driving service for collection / delivery of goods
- Report any issues that impact deliveries and collections in a timely manner
- Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks ensuring any defects are reported prior to operating vehicle
- Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting
HGV Class 1 Drivers - Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required - Candidates must hold a LGV Class 1 Driver License (minimum 2 years)
- Candidates must hold a digital and CPC Card (up to date)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function well as part of a team
- Great attention to detail and attention to safety
- Experience in a similar environment is desirable
- FLT License preferred but not essential
