HGV Class 1 Drivers
Location: Deerdykes, Cumbernauld
Salary: Basic salary £30,000-£33,000 (or pro-rata equivalent if part time)
Hours:Part time: 16-24 per week across 2–3 days or Full time: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join the team (on both full and part time basis)...

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Key Duties

Trunking to various Pitreavie sites and customers across Scotland
Drive Company HGV, and operate Company equipment in a safe and professional manner in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legislation
Provide support to Warehouse Team with loading of vehicle and securing loads safely
Provide a safe and professional HGV driving service for collection / delivery of goods
Report any issues that impact deliveries and collections in a timely manner
Conduct HGV vehicle and auxiliary equipment checks ensuring any defects are reported prior to operating vehicle
Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting

HGV Class 1 Drivers - Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

Candidates must hold a LGV Class 1 Driver License (minimum 2 years)
Candidates must hold a digital and CPC Card (up to date)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to function well as part of a team
Great attention to detail and attention to safety
Experience in a similar environment is desirable
FLT License preferred but not essential
