Position: Health & Safety Manager
Location: Armagh, Northern Ireland
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Must have: NEBOSH certification

I’m working with a leading provider of construction services with a strong presence in the data centre sector across Europe. Currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Health & Safety Manager to join their dynamic team. This role will be based in their office in Armagh.
Job Description:
As a Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations on our construction sites. You will play a critical role in promoting a safe working environment, conducting risk assessments, and implementing health and safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Safety Management:
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks.
- Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are adhered to by site personnel.
Risk Assessments and Audits:
- Perform detailed risk assessments and safety audits on construction sites.
- Develop and implement corrective actions to address any identified safety issues.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of safety measures.
Training and Education:
- Conduct health and safety training sessions for site staff and subcontractors.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters.
Policy Implementation:
- Assist in the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards and ISO guidelines (preferred but not essential).
- Keep up to date with the latest health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications and Experience:
- NEBOSH certification is required.
- Knowledge of ISO standards is preferred but not essential.
- Experience in the construction industry with on-site experience is essential.
- Must hold an Irish passport for ease of travel within Europe.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.
