Role: Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Toome, travel to UK required 3x per week

Hours: Full Time

Pay: £40,000 to £60,000

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a growing construction and fit-out company delivering high-quality projects across the UK and Ireland. This Health & Safety Advisor role offers the chance to work closely with site and HSQE teams, ensuring compliance and driving safety standards across multiple projects.

The Role:

• Carry out risk assessments and implement safe systems of work.


• Ensure all site activities comply with health & safety legislation.


• Conduct site inspections, audits, and fire safety procedures.


• Deliver inductions and ensure staff understand responsibilities.


• Investigate incidents and produce detailed reports.


• Liaise with external authorities and stakeholders.


• Monitor certifications and site compliance requirements.


• Advise on COSHH, fire regulations, and machinery safety.


• Manage PPE procurement and H&S equipment.


• Continuously review and improve H&S policies and procedures.

The Requirements:

• NEBOSH Certificate.


• CSCS/CSR Card.


• Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within construction or fit-out.


• Strong knowledge of H&S legislation and compliance.


• Experience conducting investigations and audits.


• Excellent communication and IT skills.


• Ability to work independently and within a team.


• Flexible approach with willingness to travel (approx. 50%).

Desirable:

• TWC Training.


• Grad IOSH.
